The 6th Orlov conference "The study of the Earth as a planet by methods of geophysics, geodesy and astronomy" will take place on June 22-24, 2009 at the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (MAO NASU), Kiev, Ukraine.
The Conference is organized by the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Ukrainian Astronomical Association.
The Conference is devoted to the 100th anniversary of prof. E.P. Fedorov.
The Orlov' conferences which were hels since 1980 has been well respected as important events for the international co-operation in the fields of astronomy and geodesy.
The Conference topics:
The Conference agenda includes invited speakers (45 min), oral contributions (15 min), and posters (1 page of the A1 format, 60*84 cm, or 8 pages of the A4 format). All presentations have to be in English.
Conference halls will be equipped by standard overhead and multimedia projectors. A multimedia projector has a standard SVGA screen resolution (1074x768). All conference halls are also equipped with PC/Notebooks.
Wi-Fi connection is available. Computer room and scientific library of the observatory are available for participants.
A preliminary programme and further information about the Conference will be provided later.
The Conference language will be English.
It is planned to publish the Abstract Book. Please, fill in the field "Presentation abstract" of Full Registration Form. The proceedings of the Conference will be published in the "Proceedings of Conference" (in English).
Attention! Only papers that are presented on the Conference will be published.

The Conference is organized by the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Ukrainian Astronomical Association. The Conference will be held at MAO NASU, Kiev, Ukraine.
Accommodation will be available. The Student hotels (The Guest house of the MAO NASU, hotel of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kiev), and ****/*** hotel "Holosiyivskiy" are recommended hotels for the participants of the Conference. Please, indicate in the registration form at the web-site of the Conference, what kind of hotel you would prefer.
During the Conference we will expect next cultural events.
The SOC and LOC inform that registration fee is omitted for all participants.
The Local Organizing Committee has got financial support for the Conference from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Astronomical Association.

Financial support for these categories of participants is sufficient for accomodation at the recommended hotels of the Conference.
Travel grants are available for students, post-graduated students, and young scientists (up to 35 years old) from Ukraine under the conditions they travel only by railway or bus.
