First announcement

The International Conference is being organized by the Institute of Astronomy of the Russian Academy of Sciences (INASAN) and by the International Center for Astronomical, Medical and Ecological Research (ICAMER).

The main topics of interest to the NEA-2003 are:

I. Near-Earth Astronomy: Progress, Discoveries, and Problems. International cooperation.

II. Classification of small bodies of the Solar System. Modeling of the near-Earth space population. Space debris.

III. The origin and migration of small bodies in the Solar System.

IV. Near-by passes and impacts of small bodies on the Earth and planets.

V. Observations of geosynchronous satellites; modeling of explosions on satellites.

VI. Numerical and experimental methods, their practical applications in the Near-Earth Astronomy.

VII. Instruments and Observing Techniques in the Near-Earth Astronomy.

VIII. The Earth's Atmosphere: Monitoring and Quantifying.

During the conference will be held the mini-workshop on "Exploration of outer space with the Synchronous Network of Telescopes" and the joint discussion on the problem "Human-Environment-Space".
