Visibility of Neptune in 2008: |

NEPTUNE is visible for the first three weeks of January in the evening sky in Capricornus and remains in this constellation throughout the year. It then becomes too close to the Sun for observation until early March when it reappears in the morning sky. It is at opposition on August 15 and from mid-November can be seen only in the evening sky. |
