Картотека є електронною копією оригінальних записів, зроблених самими спостерігачами у журналах спостережень, тому можливі деякі описки та неточності. Кожна платівка має певне місце (умовну адресу) у сховищі. Усі спостереження виконані з допомогою Подвійного ширококутного астрографа (ПША) має дві труби (I,II) з однаковими фотографічними об'єктивами; D/F = 400/2000(мм); максимальний розмір платівок становить 0.3м х 0.3м, що при масштабі 103 arcsec/мм приблизно відповідає ділянці неба розміром 8 х 8 градусів. Телескоп використовувався для фотографічний спостережень різних об'єктів за різноманітними науковими програмами, такими, як спостереження комет, планет, радіоджерел, галактик, фундаментальних зір, візуально-подвійних, зоряних скупчень та інші. Продовжується наповнення колекції платівок та уточнення записів у картотеці. На даний момент Картотека нараховує 3225 записів.
The Double Wide-angle Astrograph (DWA) has two tubes (I,II) with photographic objectives; D/F = 400/2000(mm); maximum size of plate is 0.3m x 0,3m, that covers 8x8 degree of the sky; scale is 103 arcsec/mm approximately. The different scientific programmes such as observations of the comets, the planets, the radio source, the galaxies and the fundamental stars, the visual binaries and the star associations and others were carried out using this telescope. The plate archive is located in the storehouse of The Main Astronomical Observatory. Each plate has it's own place. Now the part of plates absent in the storehouse. This card-index is electronic copy of the original log-book records, that's why erratums and inaccuracies of the observers are possible. The replanishment and insertion of amendment to preliminary list is in process now. These projects include 3225 records at present.
