CATALOGUE OF POSITIONS AND ORBITAL ELEMENTS OF GEOSYNCHRONOUS SATELLITE INTELSAT 6 F-4 OBSERVED IN KYIV IN 1983-1989.

We describe the GSI Catalogue (Geosynchronous Satellite Intelsat 6 F-4 Catalogue: Kyiv 1983-1989) containing the topocentric equatorial coordinates and orbital elements of geosynchronous satellite Intelsat 6 F-4 obtained by photographic method at the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 1983-1989. (http://www.mao.kiev.ua).

The results are based on the 390 satellite observed positions which were published in [1]. These observations were the first artificial satellites observations in our observatory. It was interesting to see how the one and the same satellite position changes during some time. Though we were not assured that there was really Intelsat 6 F-4 satellite in this position during the 7 years of observations. The topocentric equatorial coordinates and orbital elements are presented in this Catalogue.

GSI 1983-1989 Catalogue presents the satellite positions reduced using the FOCAT Star Catalogue in J1950.0 reference frame [2]. Time instants are given in the UTC scale. The satellite orbital elements are calculated using the method [3].
