N.V. Kharchenko. The bank of plates taken with Double Long-Focus Astrograph of Golosiiv observatory in Kiev

Description:

Double Long-Focus Astrograph (DLFA) has two tubes with photographic and photovisual objectives; D/F = 40/550; a 24 cm x 24 cm plate coves 2 degree x 2 degree of the sky with a scale of 37.5 arcsec/mm. Almost all of DLFA-projects were the sort of proper motions survey as a photographic part of the Faint Stars Catalogue project. Among them there are areas with galaxies and fundamental stars, areas with variable stars (long-period, semiregular and novae) and so-called the special program areas with open and globular clusters, close and visual binaries and star associations of the Orion Trapezium kind. These four projects include 5474 plates (Table 1). The bank includes four corresponding files:

Limiting stellar magnitude of each plate can be estimated by means of Table 2. The data base of all photographic observations of celestial bodies of Golosiiv observatory is created by Pakulyak L. et al. [3].
