Structure
The Ukrainian Centre of Determination of the Earth's Orientation Parameters (UCEOP) makes information and technical support of the SLR Data Analysis Centre of the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (MAO NASU).
The SLR Data Analysis Centre was founded in 1988. It was included to ILRS as Associative Analysis Centre in 1998.
The primary tasks of the SLR Data Analysis Centre are the following:
- the software development,
- data processing for SLR observations,
- archiving observations for local needs.
The observation data from all the Ukrainian permanent SLR stations are kept in local archives.
The unique Kiev-Geodynamics software is used for SLR data analysis. It was developed by Vladimir Tarady, Valery Salyamov, Konstantin Nurutdinov, and Mikhail Tsesis (MAO NASU). In subsequent, the software development was carried out by Sergei Rudenko and Olga Bolotina.
Since 1989, regular yearly determinations of coordinates and velocities of the EOP and SLR stations have been made at our SLR Data Analysis Centre.
The results of the SLR data analysis have been sent to the IERS since 1993.
