Kharkov GPS Group

Structure

The Kharkiv GPS Group of the Ukrainian Centre for Determination of the Earth's Orientation Parameters was founded in 2003. It is the Working Group of the Space Geodynamics Department of the Main Astronomical Obsevatory of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine. Kharkiv GPS Group is located at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Kharkiv, Ukraine.

The primary tasks of the Kharkiv GPS Group are:

• development of the software for a sophisticated analysis and quality control for code and phase single- and double-frequency GPS/GNSS observations,
• development of algorithms, software modules and complexes with the use of technology of Virtual Reference Station for observation processing of permanent networks and base GPS/GNSS stations for the organization of mass low-cost services on maintenance of precision geodetic surveying and geodynamic monitoring in separate regions and in entire Ukraine,
• development of methods and algorithms of Wide Area and Multireference differential navigation.
