Permanent GPS station GLSV
Location Permanent GPS station GLSV was installed December 16, 1997 by the Main astronomical observatory of the National academy of sciences of Ukraine (MAO NASU), Kiev, Ukraine. It was located at the MAO NASU in the southern part of Kiev. The antenna is placed at the top of still pillar mouted on the roof of the Observatory main office. New equipment was installed November 23, 2007. Now the station is equipped with the NovAtel DL-V3 receiver (NOV OEMV3), and antenna (NOV702GG). The regular observations was started 16/12/1997. The results of the GPS observations are sent regularry (ones per day and ones per hour) in internal binary format to the Operational Center of the MAO NASU. Then (after tranformation to the compact RINEX format) results are sent to the IGS Regional Data Center at the Federal Agency of Cartography and Geodesy (BKG), Frankfurt am Maine, Germany and EPN Local Data Center at the Space Recearch Institute (OLG), Graz, Austria. GPS station GLSV was included to the Ukrainian permanent GPS network since 1997. This one is a member of the International GNSS Service (IGS) network since 6/05/1998. Also, station GLSV was included in European Permanent GPS Network (EPN) since 1998 (GPSweek No 0957).
