Location

The permanent GPS station ALCI was founded on 29 November 2003 by the Research Institute of Geodesy and Cartography, Kiev, Ukraine, supported by the Ministry for Education and Science of Ukraine and by the National Space Agency of Ukraine. It is located at the Astronomical Observatory of the State Inter-Institute Centre of Laser Location Observations of Satellites (SIC "Orion" DonSTU) of the Donbas State Technical University, Mikhailovka, Luhansk region, Ukraine.

The station is equipped with the Trimble 5700 receiver and Zephyr antenna (TRM41249.00)

Regular observations started on 29 November 2003. The results of the GPS observations are sent regularly (once per day and once per hour, since 4 September 2006) to the Operational Center of the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (MAO NASU), Kiev, Ukraine.

The GPS station ALCI was included to the Ukrainian permanent GPS network in 2003.
